Her television career began on the fourth season of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" {1993}; later she appeared in 3 episodes of "New York Undercover" {1997} and again in 3 episodes of "Felicity" {2000} and in 2 episodes of "Mad TV" {2000}. Besides appearing in several television dramas she also produced "America's Next Top Model" {2003} and "The Tyra Banks Show' {2005}. Written by Tyra, the "America's Next Top Model" draws nearly 2 million viewers as it deals with women's issues. Tyra Banks has also acted in "Higher Learning" {1995} and co-starred with Lindsay Lohan in the movie "Life-Size". Her other movies include "Love Stinks" {1999}, "Coyote Ugly" {2000}, "Halloween: Resurrection" {2002}.
Tyra is also very passionate about music. Trying her hands at it, Tyra Banks recorded her first single "Shake Ya Body" featuring "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 2 contestants. Tyra Banks also appeared in several music videos including Michael Jackson's "Black or White", Tiara Summer’s "Wild Girls", and in George Michael's "Too Funky" with fellow supermodel Linda Evangelista. Banks also released a single with NBA star Kobe Bryant, titled 'K.O.B.E.', which was performed on NBA TV. She also sang a song in the musical movie "Eight Crazy Nights". Despite not clicking musically, Tyra is recording new songs including one with Wyclef Jean.
